WOD Lucky Tiger Cabernet Sauvignon California 2022 750 ML

76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Sirah, 11% Petit Verdot. The Cabernet and Petit Verdot are sourced from Mokelumne River AVA in Lodi, known as “Mighty Moke”, where the vines grown in deep sandy loam and Tokay and Acampo soils. The Petit Sirah is from Clements Hills AVA, home to a wide range of old and new soils consisting of loam, clay, granite, and volcanic.
Grapes were night harvested in early November. They were then destemmed and immediately pressed and fermented in a combination of barrels and stainless-steel tanks. The wine was matured in French oak consisting of 40% new and 60% used barrels for 16 months. 14.2% ABV.
The wine exhibits a deep garnet color accompanied by inviting aromas of baking spices, leather, and subtle tobacco. On the palate dark fruit notes of black cherry, blackberries and plum are enhanced by lively acidity adding structure and intensity to each sip. Harmoniously integrated, the pleasing and balanced interplay of spice and dark fruit components ensure a memorable tasting experience from start to finish.
